Science-Society Relationship Methodology Bacon-Descartes Method Part 1

In the work of Descartes's method is always present. The central concern of the work is that the development of knowledge arises by a method. The point is to find the appropriate methodology to get to the reason and knowledge.

Our descriptions are not due to different minds, but we deal with different methodologies. Ideologies through the years are different because they use different methodologies.

Roger Bacon, Franciscan friar, born in England in 1214 to 1294. The breadth of his knowledge and originality of his knowledge, he won the title of Doctor Mirabilis (wonderful doctor) in Oxford. He was consumed with the desire for truth, seeking satisfy in all branches of science, and especially in physics, to which he devoted most of his life.

Bacon also has the same concern for the method, says that intelligence and hand are ineffective by themselves, they need appropriate instrumentation and tools to be achievable.

The hand drive or guide the movement of the tool, the methodology can cut our intellectual divide things we can say is good or bad. The method is merely a tool, which handles intelligence.

You need a methodology both mathematicians and instrumentation. The first is recognized and the second is discussed. The instrument limits what users can do with it, eg with a screwdriver can not be sawing.

The methodology cuts the knowledge and understanding (limits and defines). Enables horizons of solutions. The method is independent of intelligence that created it, because a method to do one thing does not work, must serve more number of things, example in mathematics, the method for solving quadratic equations, suitable for all quadratic equations.
